Criminally Dumb Criminal of the Day: A man aboard a Delta plane en route to Boston from Salt Lake City was arrested upon arrival for allegedly viewing child porn on his laptop during the flight.
A fellow flyer reportedly spotted 47-year-old first class passenger Grant Smith looking at pornographic images of children, and informed flight attendants.
Once at Logan International Airport, Smith was taken into custody by state troopers and interviewed. He was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with possession of child pornography.
Additional charges are pending.
His bail set at $15,000, Smith was still in police custody as of Saturday night. He is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow.
